Placentia Half Marathon Piacenza, Italy   May 10, 2026

The start of the Placentia Half Marathon will be a few tens of meters from the finish, in Piazza Cittadella, in front of the most characteristic palace of the city headquarters of the civic museum, Palazzo Farnese. We will also try to make a great holiday, designed for you but for the whole city.

We could not choose the most beautiful “corners” of the city, we had to “settle down” the avenues, the broader streets to allow for the ride as smooth as possible. But we did not miss the center of the city with its main course and the beautiful Cavalli Square where your effort will end. There is also a nice passage along the Po riverbank: the place where all Piacenza coaches have been training forever.

Piacenza is a beautiful city and maybe May is the best month to visit. In addition to its beautiful landscapes, artistic and cultural riches, Piacenza loves its cuisine and its wines, which you will find in many restaurants at affordable prices.
