The Bib pick up was the day before so if you cam expecting to pick up your bib on race day you were out of luck. Parking was adequate and MegaBus provided free shuttles from a point in the downtown area.
The course was gorgeous and was in the Fairmont Park area of Philly. Parts of it ran along the river and the roads were open to runners only,
Pacers were provided and all of them were friendly as well as good at what they did.
The water stops were placed about every 1.25 miles. Weather was humid so it was important to keep hydrated. There were a couple significant but manageable hills and the finsh was on a nice flat stretch.
Plus category- Well organized, plenty of food, beer garden and vendors at the finish.
Minuses- Cheesy hand written certificates for AG finishers. Poor sound system for the start line and the longest porta potty lines I have ever seen. I included a photo of the Porta Potty lines…ridiculous.
