Poland’s largest and fastest running event is returning to the streets of the capital city of Warsaw. As in previous years, runners will choose between the marathon distance of 42.195 km and 10 km. A family charity run will traditionally take place on the eve of the main run.
The National Running Festival has become a hallmark event in the runners’ diary in Poland. An impressive 130,000 contestants have taken part in all editions and distances of the ORLEN Warsaw Marathon to date providing the best possible recommendation for the next year’s event. Runners will choose the distance that best reflects their capabilities. The traditional marathon will be accompanied by a 10 km race.
The ORLEN Warsaw Marathon offers a renewed and streamlined format that assures quality services for runners and provides accompanying attractions for families and fans. The next edition of the event could not do without a charitable component. By participating in the event, runners will support the ORLEN Gift from the Heart Foundation. There will be an array of cultural events for local residents and unique start packages for runners.
The quality of the ORLEN Warsaw Marathon has quickly raised its profile as one of Europe’s top marathons, as evidenced by thousands of positive comments from participants and high-profile awards including IAAF Silver Label.
