Oregon State Penitentiary Half Marathon Salem, OR   Sep 6, 2019

Oregon State Penitentiary Half Marathon is an extraordinary event, paying homage to the University of Oregon track coach, Richard Brown. He was a big contributor to the OSP running program. Without him, this running program would not be what it is today. This running program helps with many things, but its biggest impact is the normalization of AICs through their interactions with outside guests.

This program is self-sustaining with no financial assistance from the State of Oregon. By Administrative Rule inmates are not allowed to be charged an entrance or race fee. Therefore, we rely solely upon donations to fund our races. A small donation would be greatly appreciated, but of course not required.
