This is a small race with a big heart. The races at all distances are very well organized, and well-supported. Friendly race staff and volunteers. The course is flat and scenic with frequent, well-stocked aid stations. Race medals, shirts and age group awards are high quality and well-designed. This race supports autism charities. Generous food provided at the end of the event. I would definitely run this race again.

A nice small race where you run on the beach path through Dockweiler Beach to Ballona Wetlands, then back towards El Segundo Beach, then back to the start. Not many spectators and aid stations were sparse, but you have views of the beach, sand and planes taking off from LAX to keep your attention. This race was a medal race for the 2017 California Half & Full Marathon Series.

Operation Jack is a great race to run for a cause, and to it’s a Boston Qualifier on an easy course, which is all on pavement and flat. Despite the ocean views, it’s close to LA Airport and there is some noise from airplanes.
