Start your running journey here! The NYRR Start Line Series is a free, beginner-friendly community event designed to welcome runners, walkers, families, and participants of all ages to the transformative power of movement.

In partnership with NYC DOT’s Summer Streets program, we’re bringing three exciting community fun runs to the streets of New York City this summer. Participants will enjoy the experience of a professionally produced NYRR event, complete with timing, scoring, and a supportive race-day atmosphere, all at no cost.

Whether you run, jog, or walk, every step toward the start line is a powerful act of belonging. No matter your pace, age, or experience level, the NYRR Start Line Series invites you to be part of something bigger with free, supportive events that celebrate movement, community, and the joy of getting active together. Finisher souvenirs will be available while supplies last.
