NYCRUNS Summer Loving 5K

Summer lovin’ – had me a blast! Summer lovin’ – happened so fast! If that song isn’t stuck in your head now, it most certainly will be when you’re making your way around Governors Island for the Summer Loving 5K & 10K! Here’s your chance to experience the best of the island before the peak season really begins.

When you’re finished winning your race, go ahead and take a nap in Hammock Grove! Or, if you’ve got energy to spare, you can climb 75 feet above sea level and zoom down Slide Hill. Your race entry includes a ferry ride, your race-entry, a groovy tech tank, and post-race eats. Or try out one of the many vendors on the island. We truly can’t think of a better time to explore Governors Island! We can’t wait to see you there. The course is a whirlwind tour of Governors Island with amazing views! The 5K is one loop of the course; the 10K is two loops.
