First up, we have the Vert Running Series Championship – North Bend Skyline 30K. Prepare to push your limits as you conquer a challenging 6600 feet of vert and three magnificent peaks. The top man and woman will even earn a coveted spot in the prestigious Broken Arrow 23K race.
If you’re looking for a slightly shorter yet equally exhilarating challenge, look no further than the Mt Si 10K. With breathtaking views of Snoqualmie Valley from the Little Si summit, this race promises to test your endurance while rewarding you with stunning vistas.
But it doesn’t end there! The North Bend Trail Fest is more than just a race. It’s a full-blown mountain adventure festival! Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of excitement, camaraderie, and celebration as you mingle with fellow athletes, explore vendor booths, groove to live music, and indulge in delicious local food.
The North Bend Skyline 30K course
This Vert Running Series Championship course will throw a punch at you, with three peaks and 6,600 feet of VERT every inch of your body will scream for more. Yea, Little Si, Mt Si and Mount Teneriffe are places many come to start training and continue training for mountain races and mountaineering. It’s steep and has some of the greatest views of the Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier and even back into the city of Seattle. You get a great view of Mt Si from the starting line at North Bend’s Torguson Park and just looking at it will send chills up and down you while contemplating on what you’re about to take on. Don’t worry, you CAN DO this!
Little Si 10K course
The Little Si 10k is not your average race. With its unique blend of vertical gain and stunning landscapes, it offers an exhilarating experience like no other. Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or a beginner looking to push your limits, this race is guaranteed to test your endurance and reward you with unforgettable memories.
This event starts at Torguson Park and takes runners out to the Little Si trailhead where you’ll begin the quick climb out of the valley floor. After a short climb a flowing and rolling trail takes you to the ramp up to the Little Si summit where participants will get a quick view of the Snoqualmie Valley area. Then off they go back to the finish line. The 10K course has 1275 feet of vert giving all the participants a taste of the Vert Running Series.
The event supports Recovery Beyond, a recovery program building healthy lifestyles through hiking, climbing, running and other outdoor activities. $10 of each registration goes to this great program. You also have an opportunity to donate $25 or $50 more during registration.
