Night Owl 9K Williamsburg, VA   Jul 15, 2023

This race is at Freedom Park in Williamsburg, VA and starts at 6pm. The Start/Finish will be in the meadow parallel to the Botanical Garden area. The challenging course includes single track, fire road and paved trails all within the park. Rolling hills throughout. Keep in mind some of the trails are technical and have roots, twists and turns! Practice on mountain bike type singe track trails if available! Race will happen rain or shine with a possibility of a 30 min delay if needed for storms.

This is a Colonial Road Runner Grand Prix event! Race day registration IS available!

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Nature’s Nanny Wildlife rehab. There will be some owls and educational materials at the Visitors Center post race party! Walkers are welcome and there is no time limit for finishers. If you plan for a late finish, please bring personal illumination.

Parking will be around the Interpretive Center building. There are 2 restrooms on the exterior of the center and several inside the center. Packet pick up will be race day only starting at 4:30pm. Post race party will include beer and pizza. All finishers receive and handmade pottery medal and age group awards are beautiful wooden medals! T-shirts will be a tank for women, regular T-shirt for men, choose whichever you prefer. No size guarantee after July 1st! Late registrants might receive a last years T-shirt (after July 1).

Awards will be given as follows:

• Overall top 3 Male and Female
• Overall top 3 Male and Female Walker
• Top 3 in the following age groups Male and Female:
• 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 56-69, 70-74, 75 & up
• Awards will be available for pick up following the event, we will have a brief awards ceremony.
