Newport Bay to Brews Half Marathon, 5K & 10K Newport, OR   DISCONTINUED

Bay To Brews 2020 is back and better than ever. In 2020, all participants have two unique opportunities to participate. You can run or walk any course, anytime in October and submit your results OR visit Newport, Oregon in person and use our official race course.

This event is a virtual race but we encourage you to run/walk our official race course in Newport, Oregon where you will be treated to a free Rogue Beer, Cider, or Rootbeer at the famous Rogue Ales & Spirits right on the bay. Can’t get to the Oregon Coast? No problem! Use your own course in your own town. Once you complete your race distance, upload your results to qualify to win prizes and awards.

On October 10, 2020 we will be in Newport with course signage and a water station from 10am-2pm. There is no official starting time, social distancing with masks is required when you cannot be 6 feet apart. You may collect your complimentary beer at Rogue Brewery in Newport or at another Rogue Pub.

Official Route: Begin at Rogue Ales & Spirits on Yaquina Bay in Newport. Our route is comprised of two out and back portions. Segment #1: Experience the gentle wildlife views of Yaquina Bay. Return to the START/FINISH and then cruise out on the jetty for epic vistas of the Pacific Ocean. The 10K is one loop and the half marathon repeats the route for twice the fun.

Race through South Beach State Park, and under the famous Yaquina Bay Bridge to your finish line at Rogue where you’ll enjoy the best beer in the universe. Enjoy your first beer free with your bib number. Want to run less and celebrate more? Try our very flat and very fast 5K. Whatever distance you choose, we hope to see you in person for this year’s Bay To Brews.
