New Orleans Ultramarathon New Orleans, LA   Oct 19, 2024

The New Orleans Ultramarathon is a 100% urban race that takes participants all throughout the city of New Orleans, past some of its most recognizable and beautiful sights. The final course is still being finalized, and updates will be provided in the coming months. This will be entirely on pavement/streets/sidewalks/running paths/etc, and will be completely open to the public. Markings will be strategically placed along the way (little arrows spray painted on the ground), and will be very visible and easy to follow.

Participants will choose between a 50-mile and a 50k course, and will be given a generous finishing time. Cutoff for 50 milers is 13 hours, cutoff for 50k’ers is 9 1/2 hours. Both events will start in Jackson Square, with the 50-milers finishing in the same location, and the 50k’ers finishing in City Park, on the steps of the New Orleans Museum of Art.
