Mountaineer Rumble 12 Hour Clover, SC   Sep 12, 2026

Welcome to the Mountaineer Rumble 12 Hour Run at Kings Mountain State Park, Clover, SC. During the race you’ll run a 4.5 mile loop that will highlight portions of the National Recreation Trail (Blue Blaze), CCC Multi-Use Trail (Orange Blaze), Living History Farm, and the Historic Farm Trail (Yellow Blaze) for the duration of the 12 hour event. Runners will have beautiful views of Lake Crawford, Lake Crawford Dam, creeks, rolling hills, and horses, cattle, and donkeys at the Living History Farm on each loop while running under a full moon.

There will be a 12 hour time limit for the race. Runners will be able to run as many loops as they choose during the duration of the event.

Runners will run by their aid station and drop bag area on each loop. This will give you access to the race aid and your gear on each loop without leaving the course.

The goal of the Mountaineer Rumble is to highlight portions of the trail system at Kings Mountain State Park and to give back for further improvements to the park. It is our hope that you enjoy many trail miles and are introduced to a park that you may not be fully aware of what it has to offer.
