Moonshadow Half Marathon & 10K

Ever wonder what it would be like to run your favorite trails under the cool moonlight. The Moonshadow Half Marathon and 10k will be a challenging yet runnable course for all ability levels. As you may have guessed from the name of the race, it will be mostly at night under the moonlight!

The Half marathon course will be a tough, yet mostly runnable challenge consisting of single track and double track. The terrain will vary from rocky, gnarly sections to smooth, buffed out single track. The half marathon course will have about 1,650 feet of vertical gain which will be mostly in the first 9 or so miles. The last 4 miles of the race will be a screaming fast descent down the Talon and Sundance trails to bring you back to the finish line area!

The Half marathon will kick off at 6:30PM at the Limekin trailhead. The 10k will start at 7:30PM from the Limekin trailhead. Both Races will have a Midnight cut off time which should allow plenty of time for everyone to make it back to the trail head to celebrate their accomplishments!

It will be an unforgettable night of running with all of your favorite people, enjoying the incredible trails of Cheyenne Mountain State Park. The race is guaranteed to be a unique challenge and an unforgettable night for everyone involved.
