Moon Shadow 5K Syracuse

Come join a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Liverpool, NY that promises to be unlike any 5K you’ve ever run before. The highly-anticipated Solar Eclipse will be directly overhead at 3:21 pm and will last for an astounding 2 minutes and 27 seconds. The 5K will begin immediately at the conclusion of the Solar Eclipse at ~3:25pm at Saw Mill Creek Shelter in Willow Bay.

All participants will receive a custom Moon Shadow 5K shirt to commemorate this amazing day as well as a custom finisher medal once you cross the finish line. All participants will also receive custom eye glasses to view the solar eclipse. The first 100 registrants will receive the custom Moon Shadow 5K commemorative pint glass for free (we have filled the first 100 participates) but these pints can be purchased in the store on the registration page & we may have some available for purchase at the race. The finisher medal is spectacular!

Please note that although this event falls on a Monday, many schools and businesses will be closed, making it feel like a Sunday. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to join us for a running event that will “eclipse” all other Willow Running events.
