Montclaire 5K

We are delighted to be back! Please celebrate and join your school community for the in-person Montclaire Elementary School 5K!

Whether you run, walk or crawl, you will surely enjoy the Montclaire 5K! The Montclaire 5K is a family event that provides everyone with the opportunity to work up a good sweat and have loads of fun – all while supporting our favorite elementary school. Sign-up the whole family and all your friends and neighbors. The beautiful 3.1 mile course goes along Montclaire and the surrounding Highlands neighborhood and Rancho. We don’t record individual times, but there will be a clock – everyone’s a winner at the Montclaire 5K!

Did you know that every year MPTO raises in excess of $440,000 to fund invaluable programs and resources for our students? Despite our high property taxes, California public schools face funding shortfalls. As a result, annual per-pupil funding in our school is significantly lower than the national average, and funding to our District (CUSD) is below the California average. While our District leaders do more with less, MPTO brings the community together to address the challenge of fundraising for the staff and programs desired by our community.
