Whether you’re an experienced trail runner or just starting out, Moab Trailfest is the perfect opportunity to meet other outdoor enthusiasts, discover new trails, and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of the American Southwest. This 3-day running event takes you to a new, world-class trail each morning and then provides the opportunity to choose your own adventure or soak in the basecamp experience after crossing each daily finish line.
Moab Trailfest is three days of trail running through scenery that feels almost unreal—slickrock waves, fiery cliffs, sandstone fins, and wide-open desert that seems to glow from within. Each day delivers a new flavor of red-rock magic, with bold, flowing trails that curve through playful terrain and make every mile feel smooth, fast, and wildly fun.
Back at camp, the energy shifts into something just as special. Shoes come off, cold drinks appear, and runners gather in camp chairs as the sky turns molten gold. Music drifts, laughter carries, dinner hits the tables, and Moab settles into that warm desert-evening glow—part festival, part getaway, part trail-running playground. It’s sun-soaked, joy-filled, and just the right amount of wild.
Day 1: Pritchett Arch (13.5 mi.)
Steep climbs, class 3 scrambles & rocky terrain. Explore stunning orange sandstone arches on this loop trail, offering otherworldly views of the unique formations that make Moab so special.
Day 2: Gemini Bridges (16.75 mi.)
Not technical but exposed to the sun. Enjoy a thrilling journey through the Horsethief mountain bike system, featuring slickrock, sandy trails, and stunning views.
Day 3: Porcupine Rim (14.6 mi.)
Tough uphills & fun down downhills. Stunning views of Castle Valley, leading to a fun downhill stretch towards the Moab Trailfest finish line.
