Millstadt Tin Man Half Marathon & 5K Millstadt, IL   May 19, 2024

The Millstadt Half Marathon and 5K will both be out and back, starting in Millstadt at the corner of Madison and Breese streets, by the Millstadt Tin Man, and will continue for both distances along East Madison Street, Urbana Road, Schmidt Lane and Park Road. The route will be on oiled and chipped pavement, east of Millstadt, over gently rolling hills, with lots of level running. We will have restroom facilities along the way.

Ott’s Tavern will be the site of a post race party, featuring pulled pork sandwiches, homemade cole slaw and beverages. All race participants will receive a tee shirt. The top three overall male and female finishers in both races will receive plaques. In addition, the top three finishers in each age bracket will receive a medal. However, there will be no duplication of awards. All half marathon runners who finish the race will receive a Millstadt Tin Man commemorative mug.

All proceeds will go towards the restoration and preservation of the Old Millstadt Water Tower, also known as the Tin Man.
