Midnight Run 5K & 10K for Special Olympics Leawood, KS   Jul 26, 2025

Beat the heat this summer at the Midnight Run 5K/10K for Special Olympics. This event is presented by the Leawood Police Department, a participating agency in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Kansas, and features a fast course through the streets of Leawood. Your participation will help raise money for Special Olympics and finishers in both the 5K and 10K Run/Walk will receive a custom finishers medal!

Due to street construction on Tomahawk Creek Parkway, both events start at Midnight on Saturday at Leawood City Park, with one lap for the 5K and two laps for the 10K. Due to limitations on road closures, the 10K is a run only event with a one hour and 15 minute time limit.
