Join us for the annual Michigan Monster Dash, returning to the scenic Kensington Metro Park! Runners will enjoy breathtaking views, a mostly flat course, and the peaceful beauty of Kensington’s wooded surroundings. The Start/Finish line is set at picturesque Maple Beach, with the race winding along the shores of stunning Kent Lake.

99% of the course for all events is paved blacktop trail or road. The only exception is about 50 yards right after the start and just before the finish where the course is on solid grass. This is just to keep the start/finish line off the main trail, which is used on race-day by the general public as well.

The Michigan Monster Dash is proudly organized by Finish Line Runs, a running event group based in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area dedicated to creating fun, memorable, and scenic races. Known for amazing shirts, medals, and a family-friendly atmosphere, our events are designed for runners of all skill levels. Plus, we take pride in offering the best finish line drinks and food—because every great run deserves a great celebration!
