Mental Health Ultra Marathon

Brown’s Mill–Coweta County Parks & Recreation will host a 10K, half marathon and 50k this November to raise awareness for Mental Health.

If you’re reading this, you or someone you know has struggled with mental health illness. When you make the decision to put one foot in front of the other, you’re able to see just how fortunate you are.

The Mental Health Ultra Marathon course will be a 6-mile loop with 530 feet of gain per loop. It is single track rolling hills and very runnable for any level of experience. There will be a water aid station at the 3-mile mark & full aid station at the start and finish.

10K: 1 loop
Half: 2 loops
50K: 5 loops

In 2021, over 19% of Americans struggled with mental health illness. With the help of Coweta County Parks & Rec we hope to bring to light these issues affecting our families and friends.

All proceeds will be donated to AnotherWay Foundation, Inc. for use within Pathways Center for Mental Health. Pathways Center is a behavioral health care organization serving children, adolescents, and adults – addressing an array of mental health and substance abuse issues.

Donations from this event may be used to sponsor individual counseling sessions for those that do not have the means to pay as well as provide therapeutic interventions such as art therapy, pet therapy, horticultural therapy, and more.
