Montpellier Athletic Mediterranee Metropole (MA2M), the athletics clubs of Montpellier, organizes every year the Montpellier Marathon with the City Hall. This marathon takes place entirely in the city and in the metropolis. This year it will go through 6 municipalities : Montpellier, Castelnau-le-Lez, Lattes, Pérols, Mauguio, Carnon

The track goes through lively neighbourhoods of Montpellier and its metropolis, and the runners can discover symbolic places and keep lasting memories of their race. It is a real pleasure for the eye as well as the pleasure to run!

Montpellier Marathon is a popular event that attracts more than 7,000 runners a year. The Marathon village is settled; Place du Nombre d’or and organizes games for adults and children.

Montpellier Marathon is a race enjoyed by athletes (difficult trial) as well as by the audience and the families coming to support the runners.
