Live Oak Odyssey Trail Runs Rancho Santa Margarita, CA   Nov 14, 2026

Live Oak Odyssey is a fixed-time trail running experience located in O’Neill Regional Park. Situated in beautiful Trabuco and Live Oak Canyons on a 2.75 mile loop, join us for either a 3 or 6 hour run on the trails.

The park is heavily wooded with coast live oak and sycamore trees. The hillsides surrounding the park are filled with cactus, wild buckwheat, sagebrush and chaparral of scrub oak, buckthorn and mountain mahogany.

This course has it all. Uphills, downhills, single track, double track. You’re gonna love it!

About the Course
2.75 Mile Loop with approximately 500 feet of vertical gain per loop.

From start/finish: Take Arroyo Trabuco Trail. Make a right at the paved road. Follow the paved road to Live Oak Trail. Stay on Live Oak Trail for approximately 1.3 miles. Make a Right on Coyote Canyon Trail. Follow Coyote Canyon Trail for approximately .5 mile. After .5 miles, continue straight onto Coyote Trail which will loop back to start/finish. Course will be marked with orange and black polka dot ribbons.
