Lexington Equine Medical Hunter Pace & 5K At The Park Lexington, KY   Sep 5, 2026

Join this truly unique racing experience at the Kentucky Horse Park benefiting the Kentucky Horse Council! You set your pace running or walking on the same Hunter Pace turf/cross country course that the horses ride. This is truly a one-of-a-kind run/walk experience you’ll only find in the Horse Capital of the World.

This is a cross-country course on mowed grass surface. Common start/finish with runners traversing the course in the order of the numbered features for the horse show jumping. Runners in the race are not required to jump over the obstacles (run around them).

The race supports the work and mission of the Kentucky Horse Council which is headquartered at the Kentucky Horse Park. Proceeds will be specifically earmarked for KHC work in Eastern Kentucky.
