Laurel Run Ascent

The Laurel Run Ascent is a 11 Mile Trail Race held in Laurel Run Park. 11 mile trail race from Laurel Run Park to Bays Mountain Park fire tower and back to Laurel Run Park. Scenic course includes Laurel Run Trail, Kiner Hollow Trail & Indian Pipes Trail in 3,550 acre Bays Mountain Park nature preserve. This is a challenging race with creek crossings and should only be run if you are properly trained.

It is recommended that you carry water. Must yield to descending runners!

Course closes at 2 hours 45 minutes! You will not be included in results after this cutoff.

Headphones are NOT permitted on the course. Strollers are NOT permitted on the course.

Overall winners not eligible for age division awards. Top 3 in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over, male and female.
