The annual Lane Walker Race has an event for everyone! For the serious runner, we have the competitive 5K, 10K or Half Marathon. Accurate, paved course. The race begins and ends at the Lincoln Road Park & Ride, Alma, MI.
The entry fee includes a Pullover and a finisher medal. Or just come out and run or walk the 5k fun run. Fun run entry fee includes a T-shirt. Children 12 and under are free with a registered adult. Youth T-shirts will be available for purchase the day of the race for $10. Register by September 12th to be guaranteed a shirt/pullover. Items available as supplies last after that date. FREE Pre and Post race massage!
And of course it is all for a great cause. The Lane Walker Foundation exists to minister to the needs of families with children who have special needs. We have a group of people that are excited and committed to changing people lives through love and kindness, just as so many friends and families did for us! The race will be professionally chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Playmakers.com.
