Lake Stephens Finns Up 5K

Welcome to the Lake Stephens Finns Up 5k and Kids Splash Dash hosted by Active Southern West Virginia – a thrilling race experience set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Stephens. Get ready to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area while enjoying a family-friendly event filled with excitement and celebration. 

5K Race: Starting at the Lake Stephens Pavilion, the Finns Up 5k takes you on a picturesque journey along a relatively flat out-and-back course. The gravel dirt service trail guides you through an even wooded trail, offering a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment. The 5K will be chip timed and is open to all ages wanting to podium. Awards will be given to top finishers in each division. 

Kids Splash Dash: Starting at the Lake Stephens Pavilion, the Kids Splash Dash is a free non-timed fun run for youth ages 12 and under. 

5K Racer Perks: 
– Closed Trail Course
– Chip Timing
– Water Station at Midway point
– Finisher Medal to top finishers in each division 
– Short sleeve t-shirt 
– Post-race refreshments 

Awards: The 5k includes top finisher medals in these age groups: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for Male AND Female.

Post-Race Beach Blast: After you cross the finish line, the celebration continues with the Lake Stephens Beach Blast presented by Raleigh County Parks and Recreation Authority starting at 11 am. Experience a day of post-race festivities on the beach, featuring games, prizes, food trucks, and a live DJ!
