La foulee des parcs

La foulee des parcs (the stride of the parks) is an urban race inviting all its participants to surpass themselves with family and friends in the parks of Outremont. The event is meant to bring people together: families, friends, neighbors in Outremont and elsewhere, everyone is welcome! The goal is to promote healthy lifestyles by practicing physical activity accessible to all by promoting local businesses and eco-responsible practices.

From the beginner to the confirmed athlete, there is something for everyone. Whatever the route, all departures take place on Outremont Street between Elmwood and St-Viateur Streets. All arrivals are in the heart of Outremont Park. A snack and water will be offered to participants at the finish of the races. There will also be water distribution on the 5 km and 10 km routes.

The event is also and especially an opportunity to organize a fundraiser for Outremont family, created in 2009 and dedicated to the well-being of Outremont families! By participating in the stride, you ensure the sustainability of its mission: develop the community and support families in the neighborhood who need it most.

Also, the Foulée des parcs is sanctioned OR by the Quebec Athletics Federation, which is a guarantee of quality in terms of its course and organization. The Foulée des Parcs has become a must event of the summer.
