Overall great race with out of sight scenery. Private cattle ranch in the heart of SLO, beautiful. Everyone was very nice and a tight little community. Affordable on sight camping. The aid stations didn’t have any real food, just snacks and their sponsored energy/electrolyte brand. Nice tech shirt but finishers had the choice of pint glass or shaker bottle… AND NO FINISHER BEER?! hahaha
I will be back!
Great local course for SLO county

The race is ran on private property, so it’s amazing that we are welcome to run there! Thank you Miossi family! Very beautiful display of San Luis Obispo landscape. It was HARD! Just shy of 5,000 feet elevation gain for 16 ish miles. For me, that’s a lot! But I loved the challenge. Worth doing for sure. Everyone was so nice. Will do again. I rolled my ankle at 6 miles in so I wasn’t as fast as I wanted, but I finished! Thank you to the runners who made sure I was ok!
