The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge’s Thanksgiving Day 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ Mile Run has been a local tradition and a community favorite for over three decades. It is also the biggest fundraiser of the year!

The Community Centers Thanksgiving Day Food Drive is the largest Food Drive in the Foothill communities. Canned and non-perishable food is collected during the month of November at locations in La Cañada, La Crescenta and Montrose. Non-perishable donations are distributed by the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station to local families in need. In 2017, the food collected served over 160 families.
