Very well organize and even though I don’t speak Japanese there was always someone there to assist. We arrived in Kurobe by local train and the shuttle was there to take everyone to packet pick up. There wasn’t much for an expo. On race day there were shuttles to take you to the start regardless if you drove or took the train and again after the race. The view along the course had the backdrop of th Japanese Alps and at times the cool wind off the river kept the tempature comfortable. Crowd support is sparse but plenty of aide stations that served not only sport drinks and water but fresh fruit and even salted ice cream on a cone. The race finishes at the park but not much race swag however there is plenty of vendors selling food. If you enjoy the outdoor setting but still in a city setting this is a race to do.
