Kolache Factory 5K & 10K

Houston’s best 5K & 10K food run returns this April to the Energy Corridor with the annual Kolache Factory 5K, 10K & Kids Dash! Save the Kolaches until after your run/walk, or be daring and take on the ’10K Challenge’ and eat three kolaches at the half way point! Either way, enjoy a Saint Arnold beer and an awesome Texas belt buckle medal for your hard work after the finish!

This event sold out in 2019, so be sure to register early and take advantage of our lowest price on registrations.

Kolache Factory, our title sponsor, was founded in 1982 in Houston, Texas by co-founders John and Jerri Banks, who identified a need for a fresh, high quality breakfast that could be eaten “on the run.” We’re excited to officially put “on the run” to the test!

All participants are eligible to enjoy kolaches at the finish line (courtesy of Kolache Factory) along with other post-race refreshments including one free beer per 21+ participant.

Also, we have an option for our young participants in the ‘Kolache Kids Dash’ (Ages 12 and Under Fun Run, Untimed). One parent per child may participate for free during the event. We’ll also have a face painter/balloon twister on site at the start/finish line area between 8-10am for all of our participating kids!
