Enjoy the experience of running in the Kilimanjaro Natural Park in Tanzania. Marathon, Half Marathon or 10k in a 5-day package, combining the race with a Tekking on Kilimanjaro, visits to Masai villages and one day safari in one of the most spectacular reserves in Tanzania.
In addition to running, the organization offers a program wich includes transfers from the airport, all meals, accommodation, training programs, stretching sessions, visit to the Masai village with a trophy party, finisher medal, technical jacket and one day of safari.
Optionally, you can hire an extension to climb Kilimanjaro Peak in a 6 days route.

Equipment of Tanzania Marathon
The organization has looked for the best dates to enjoy adequate temperatures in July-August, away from the heat of the northern hemisphere and spring rains, although the weather is never under control, even so, the environmental conditions could vary.
A temperature is expected that could vary from 5ºC at the beginning to 19ºC at the finish at the time of the year of celebration. The organization will put a clothing delivery point in case a participant wants to get rid of a winter cap, jacket, etc. Registration includes this exclusive jersey!
Track and Route of Tanzania Marathon
The circuit travels in the Kilimanjaro National Park. The surface is a mix of dirt tracks and trails in various environments; humid rainforest up to 2500m, drier heather forest, up to 3500m, so multipurpose trail footwear is recommended.
The highest point is 3600 m (marathon) 3600 m (half marathon) and 2300 m in 10 k. The starting point in Londorosi Gate is an altitude of 2300 m approx.
The itinerary is one-way and return with two round boucles and the finish line is common for Marathon, half marathon, and 10k.
