But it’s not just these numbers; the stunning scenery along the entire route – for fans and participants alike – is what truly makes hearts beat faster. Pure nature!

At the start in Interlaken, the finish line is already in sight. The view of the Jungfrau, one of the famous trio of peaks in the Alps – the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau – sets the course. The Jungfrau Marathon leads through a variety of landscapes – along the beautiful Lake Brienz, through traditional mountain villages, and finally past a breathtaking mountain panorama. The unique atmosphere, enhanced along the entire route by flag throwers, alphorn players, and cowbell ringers, makes this race a truly captivating experience. Runners are welcomed at the finish line on the Eiger Glacier at 2,320 meters above sea level, at the foot of the Eiger North Face.
