JBMDL Beat 539 Half Marathon

Presented by 87th Force Support Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in New Jersey, the “Beat 539 Marathon” is event is open to both civilian and military runners from across the nation. It’s a fun, flat, and fast course that everyone can be a part of!

The marathon starts on the flight line of the McGuire-section of JB MDL and continues through the ranges of the Dix section on their way to Route 539, which you cross into the famous Lakehurst section of JB MDL and on to the finish line by the Hindenburg Monument. The challenge is to cross Route 539 by 1:00pm. If you miss it, you’re out of the marathon and bussed to the finish line.
