Jailbreak Marathon

WISCONSIN’S PREMIER RURAL MARATHON

The Jailbreak Marathon is a race that originated in 2008 and is put on by the Waushara County Crimestoppers. This year the race has been reinvigorated after a short hiatus. The race begins at that Waushara County Fairgrounds and travels throughout the central portion of the county. The area contains beautiful countryside, rolling hills, and support from local residents and businesses.

The Jailbreak Marathon is a certified Boston Qualifier course.

Also held that day is a Half Marathon, a 10K and 5K fun run/walk. Come enjoy the start of the fall colors for what will prove to be a running experience like no other.

Aid Stations
There will be a total of 7 aid stations on the course, approximately every 2 miles, aid stations will have different nutritional goodies such as: Water, Gatorade, Bananas, Chips and Stinger Gel’s (Half and Full Marathon Course Only)

Other Points of Interest
There will be displays by our Counties First Responders along with demonstrations by our County K9 officers, along with the introduction of our new K9 Storm. There will also be a Craft Sale on the Fairgrounds from 9am – 3pm.
