The State of Firsts! Western Mass is known for one-of-a-kind attractions and beautiful outdoor spaces, but the locally owned businesses make the region authentically Western Mass. Some of the finest and most unique museums in the country are situated in Western Mass. While you can explore science and history to your heart’s content, we’re also particularly partial to The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum for its ability to turn us all back into wide-eyed children again for a few hours.

Enjoy a 1.2 mile downstream swim in the Connecticut River, a rolling 56 mile bike ride through the rural roads of New England, and a 13.1 mile run that takes you through downtown Springfield.
