IRONMAN 70.3 Tulsa

A New Kind of Energy
Nestled in Eastern Oklahoma, is a city booming with excitement and the host to the newest IRONMAN 70.3. This May, in conjunction with Certified Piedmontese Beef IRONMAN Tulsa, part of the VinFast IRONMAN US Series, Tulsa will host the inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Tulsa.  

IRONMAN 70.3 Tulsa is 70.3 miles packed with scenic views, challenging terrain and spectator lined streets.  Make Tulsa your next race-cation destination and feel a new kind of energy.  

Swim
The swim will take place in beautiful Keystone Lake located at Keystone State Park in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. This race will begin with a rolling start format. Water temperatures this time of year are generally in the low to mid 70’s.

Bike
Once athletes finish their 1.2 mile swim in Keystone Lake they will enter T1, grab their gear and head out onto the 56.0 mile bike ride that will take them through the Osage hills of Oklahoma.  Athletes will head north into Osage county toward Skiatook Lake before they loop around and head back toward the city of Tulsa.  As you head back to Tulsa County into downtown you will be met with roaring crowds cheering you on as you enter T2 in the heart of downtown Tulsa.

Run
The Certified Piedmontese Beef IRONMAN Tulsa run leaves from the heart of Downtown Tulsa and makes its way through historic, vibrant downtown Tulsa to the River Parks Trail System. Runners will have flat and fast views of the Arkansas River as they make their way past Tulsa’s Gathering Place and back through downtown to the Finish Line.
