IRONMAN 70.3 Lanzarote

Not far from the northwest coast of Africa, the IRONMAN 70.3 Lanzarote boasts a breath-taking course that takes place in some of the most spectacular scenery in Europe. Years of constant eruptions created a lunar landscape, unique in Europe, where athletes will experience racing in a venue never discovered before.

The one-loop 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim starts at Marina Rubicon and returns to Dorada Beach, Playa Blanca where athletes will exit and head towards transition.

The new 3-loop bike course (2 long – 40km each – and 1 short- 10km) will complete the 90 km (56 mile) in the southern part of the island.

The four-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) new run course takes place at Playa Blanca, with athletes enjoying the circular course as the route alternates between slightly inland, along the seafront and across the harbor before culminating in short stretch to the finish line.
