The country where the Olympic Games were born becomes a fitting host for triathlon thanks to this Spring event. With sweeping panoramas, endless sandy beaches, hidden coves and adventures around each corner, Costa Navarino is travel paradise. Blue skies, mild temperatures and exquisite views are topped only by the beautiful fresh cuisine of the region. A dream destination for any triathlon travel lover.

The one-loop 1.9 km (1.2 mile) counter-clockwise swim course takes athletes out into the Ionian Sea in front of the Costa Navarino Hotel where they also exit the water for a 600 m (660 yard) run into transition.

From the transition zone, all participants will pass through the Costa Navarino main gate and cycle uphill towards Soulinari village and back towards Gargalianoi. They will ride through ancient olive groves and pine covered hills, while never loosing site of the deep blue of the sea. It will be a two-lap challenging course on excellent tar paved roads.

The two-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course will start from Costa Navarino and pass through the traditional villages of Romanos and Petrochori. The locals will surely inspire and give you strength with their ‘opa’s’ and traditional Greek outfits. Run along olive and orange groves on asphalt road before heading back to the finish line at Costa Navarino with a scenic view of the ionian sea.
