Vibrant Metropolis and Idyllic Nature. Just a stone’s throw from the German capital and yet hidden deep in the Brandenburg Forest lies the charming small town of Erkner. Where others are looking for rest and relaxation, you can experience great racing in the middle of the idyllic landscape of the Oder-Spree region with its wide meadows, impressive forests and dreamlike lakes.
Swim
The one-loop 1.9 (1.2 mile) ROKA swim course is located in the Strandbad Erkner, the Dämeritzsee. One half of the Dämeritzsee lies in Berlin city territory and the other half in the state of Brandenburg. The wooded banks are flat, the water is clean and clear, perfect conditions for the start of your race.
Bike
The 2-loop 90km bike course is flat and fast and takes you on straight newly paved roads along the river Spree into the untouched and pristine nature of Brandenburg.
Run
The 21.1km flat 4-lap HOKA run course will let you finish your race with a lot of energy while running through Erkner with some great spectator support passing the beautiful marketplace of Erkner and the famous Gerhart-Hauptmann-Museum, a memorial to the poet and winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature Gerhart Hauptmann.
