In the crystal clear waters of the Pacific, between corals and fish of thousand colors, where the sea devours the mountain, one of the best swimming races of the IRONMAN circuit will be held; compared perhaps for its transparency and warm temperature, with the island of Kona.
Viewers will entirely witness the striking route from the beautiful Playa del Coco, where its incredible bay surrounded by sailboats and fishing boats shall print its magic.
Penetrate into the green of the jungle on a bike will be a motivating factor for our athletes to perform one of the possible fastest circuits of the IRONMAN. It probably shall be difficult for our cyclists to focus on the road; they surely will not want to lose sight of the vivacious monkeys and huge iguanas coming out to meet them while they race. The passage will be so striking, that both spectators and triathletes will enjoy all its exuberance.
Running beside the sea along the boardwalk, in the “Paseo del Amor” (Love Walk), might not be the best expression for the IRONMAN warriors, but to maintain focus and know for sure that the experience is real, not an ecological postcard.
This will be one of the friendliest tours for spectators; at just a few steps we will observe our athletes at the different points of the circuit, enjoying a refreshing drink in a nice cafe.
