Swim
The swim will be a rolling start. It will being at the ramp at the west end of the lake, in front of the Tempe Center for the Arts. Athletes will swim towards the pedestrian bridge and then cross the lake to the north. Once on the north side, athletes will take a right turn to swim east, turning back south approximately near the marina. Athletes will exit the water at the ramp in front of the KPMG building before heading back to transition along the south shore path.

Bike
The relatively flat, three-loop bike course winds through the streets of Tempe, giving each athlete a glimpse of some of the best that Tempe has to offer. While there are a few sharp turn arounds, this course is sure to surprise athletes with how fast their splits are!

Run
The very spectator friendly, two-loop run course takes athletes around the shores of Tempe Town Lake. It is very exposed to sunlight, which can be strong in the October afternoons.
