Inland Trail Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K

The Inland Trail Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K course is on the North Coast Inland Trail, starting from Murray Ridge Center. The marathon is a Boston qualifier!

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU DID NOT COMPETE IN 2015 or 2016: Due to feedback from race participants, we began using a new route last year for the marathon and half marathon. Both races will now start at the Murray Ridge School and proceed through some city streets in Elyria before merging onto the North Coast Inland Trail – it will no longer be a straight out and back race. While the trail is certainly scenic, many runners found having the entire race on the trail to be somewhat monotonous. The new route will also mean that we will NOT be busing half marathoners to Kipton before the start. They will start and finish at the school, which will give them more time to stretch and prepare before the race in a warm indoor environment. The 5K course will not be affected. We hope runners will enjoy the new course and scenery, which still retain a significant portion of the trail.
