Ibukisuki Nanohana Marathon is held on the second Sunday of January every year as a citizen marathon of the first full marathon certified course in Japan. Along the course, there are rape flower fields like spreading yellow carpet, nature such as Kyushu’s largest lake “Ikeda Lake”, also known as Satsuma Fuji “nature mountain”, of course, warm cheering at the roadside and heartfelt Hospitality encourages and energizes the runners. Today, it has grown to one of the country’s best tournaments, there are about 2000 volunteers and support of citizens’ total, puffed potatoes and zenzai are behaved, for the athletes it is the hospitable hospitality memorable marathon tournament for athletes.
