    This is event is a fun frolicking run through Maybury State Park. If you’re looking for a professionally timed 5k look elsewhere. It’s a there-and-back jog through the paved walkways of the park. Prerace there was hot chocolate, a few guys wearing turkey outfits and maybe even music(not 100% sure). The finisher medals were nice. This is a nice little 5k that doesn’t try to take itself to seriously. I look forward to running it again this year though I may actually weave through the walkers and pick up the pace this time. 🙂
