House of Sport Future Stars 5K

DICK’S House of Sport is hosting its first annual Future Stars 5K. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to this new community event. Kids can enjoy a fun run course of the field during and after the run. There will be a “cool down” area provided for all runners and walkers and hydration stations throughout the racecourse. Kiddos will have their own “activity” area for them to have fun and enjoy.

The race begins at 9:00 AM at House of Sport Johnson City. Participants who register by the cutoff are guaranteed a shirt. Race results recorded by Falcon Timing.

Race proceeds benefit the DICK’S Sporting Goods Sports Matter foundation, a non-profit corporation with a mission to inspire and enable sports participation. We believe that sports change lives. In addition to physical and mental health benefits, sports have the power to change our perspectives, our character, and our communities for the better. This belief has guided DICK’S Sporting Goods and The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation since the beginning – but not everyone has the same access to play. Through grants and other support, The DICK’S Foundation helps under-resourced 501c3 organizations, schools, and community teams across all 50 states provide opportunities for youth to play sports.
