Horsethief Canyon Half Marathon

Horsethief Canyon Half Marathon provides a beautiful evening event with an out and back course. The course is completely on a dirt access fire road. Mostly uphill going to the turn around point, with mostly downhill coming back. Great opportunity for a negative split!

The fire road is very wide, and not very technical, footing will be good no matter what the weather brings. A volunteer will be taking numbers at the turnaround to verify you made it.

This race course is located in the Pine Creek Wilderness with permissions granted by the U.S.F.S. so be sure to respect the course and the surrounding lands. We will also be having an evening start to the race and enjoying the warm, summer evening. Bring a light in case you take longer than you expect and are still running at dusk.
