The Hope Run was one of my first 5K’s as a growing runner. I loved the cause but not the course. I was just not very fond of the park venue. It was a small race, not a lot of people. It was family-friendly and fun. To me, the park felt small and it wasn’t scenic. So, it was then that I realized that I’m not a big fan of smaller races. And that’s okay!
