I’ve done this course before as a St Patty’s Day race and prefer it much more that time of year. This time around there was one fewer aid station (three) on this two “lap” out and back. Hopefully they’ll bring back the other one.
As part of Bodies Hometown Half (different Hometown Half series than Clinton) the medals are the same for all the races and change up every year. This year the medals were amazing even by Bodies standards. I think the shirt was nice too, but to be honest it was overshadowed by the medal so I’d have to pull it out to even remember if it was cotton or tech. The scenery is gorgeous and hilly. You will have short steep ones and one windy one thats nearly 3/4 miles long…and you’ll do them all four times (twice in each direction). Snacks afterwards were diverse and tasty and chocolate milk was available.
Hilly and hot
