The Holly Jolly Half Marathon start and finish will be at the Pleasant Valley Fields Park at the Village At The Park Sports Complex. This course is over the mostly flat Camarillo bike path. No auto traffic to worry about on this course.
Yes we will have prizes for the best holiday costumes, so come dressed in your favorite Christmas duds and let’s see how creative everyone can get.
For weekend warriors / beginners / walkers: Yes, very walker-friendly course, mostly flat, plenty of aid stations, and loads of fun! Generous 4:00 hour time limit for the half marathon so take your time and enjoy the scenery, all levels of fitness are welcome at our events.
For middle of the pack runners: Everyone will be asking… what did you do on your holiday vacation time? Now you can show off your finisher medal and race day t-shirt. This is the race for you and everyone you know.
For elite and advanced runners: This mostly flat two loop course is a great way to test your winter time speed! A perfect way to give yourself a holiday gift (a new PR) that you can cheer about all the way to new years.

Pick up bib. No chip. Bill later announced that they weren’t going to “do a big production” and they’d be taking down times manually.
The course, for a bike path, is actually very pretty! It is two loops though so … pretty boring as well.

All “Elite Sports California” races are a joke. Packet pickups are unorganized, they still use those crappy reusable timing chips, courses are painfully boring, age group “prizes” are usually cheap. Races get cancelled for no reason and it’s impossible to get a refund or transfer. Race director doesn’t pay his charities. He is a crook that is just out to put money in his pocket by putting on cheap, poorly run events. Serious road racers need to avoid these at all costs.
